St james Primary e-NEWS

11th July 2024

Welcome to the St James Primary School's E-News, a weekly roundup of the latest news and events at the school

Executive Headteacher's Blog

Dear Parents and Carers

It's the final blog of the year, (you might be breathing a sigh of relief!), and time to say a huge number of thank yous to everyone. Firstly, a big thank you to you all for your amazing support of the school throughout our Ofsted inspection. It meant a lot to hear the inspector talk about the many positive comments from you. And thank you for your support throughout the year - our wonderful school community is a true partnership between us all and it makes such a difference to the children.

I also have to say a huge thank you to the staff who have worked tirelessly throughout the year to make sure St James is the best school it can be for the children. Another wonderful reflection from our Ofsted inspector was how every staff member makes a huge positive contribution to St James, and that is a reflection of the amazing team I have the privilege to work with and lead.

I hope you have a wonderful summer break and that the summer weather finally decides to stay for a few weeks! To those children and families  leaving us, we wish you lots of good luck for the future!

Best wishes

Valerie Elliott
