Trick Box Focus - the trick that children are focusing on for the next two weeks is Break Through. Please see below:

Closure of School Gates After School- please remember that we close the school gates at 3.20pm every afternoon for the safety of the children remaining in school for clubs. Please would parents leave the school premises promptly after they collect their children.
Midday Supervisor at St Mary's Shackleford - We are looking to recruit a friendly and reliable person to join our Surrey Oak Federation team as a Midday Assistant to support children at lunchtime. This role is to be based at St Mary’s C of E Infant School in Shackleford. Working hours would be 12.00pm to 1.00pm on a Thursday and Friday, during the Summer 2024 term. As part of our recruitment process, we would need to seek two references and undertake an Enhanced DBS. PTA Second-Hand Uniform Shop - Danielle Sleightholme will be opening up the PTA Uniform Store at school pick-up on the occasional Friday to allow parents and carers to browse the available items.
Drop in sessions with our Home School Link Worker, Helen Owen - The role of the Home School Link Worker (HSLW) is to support families with a range of issues at home or at school. 1:1 sessions are available on Wednesdays. To book an appointment, email Helen on hslw@st-james-elstead.surrey.sch.uk or ring the school office to request a call back.

PTA News

DIY Day THIS SUNDAY!

Our re-booted DIY Day is happening this Sunday, 28^th April 10-1pm. If you can help – even for part of the time – your efforts will be greatly appreciated!

Please bring any gardening tools you have, we are especially in need of an extra petrol strimmer and petrol leaf-blower, and some hoes, hammers, and small spades.

Kids are welcome and the more the merrier!
