17th July 2025

Welcome to the St James Primary School's E-News, a weekly roundup of the latest news and events at the school

Executive Headteacher's Blog

Dear Parents and Carers

I hope that you enjoyed our KS2 Finding Nemo production.  It has been a huge team effort, with some children taking on several parts, the making of huge number of props for the production and the expert support of the technical and backstage crew.

I would particularly like to thank Miss Hitchen, Mrs Lambert and Mr Gardner for putting the show together over the last few months. They have been brilliant.
I would also like to thank Mrs Peach for staying on after school and coming in during the weekend to paint the amazing scenery, Mrs Chambers for her management of everything back stage, John Flood for repairs to our scenery panels, and Musicworks for providing microphones and the support of Russell, their sound technician, during performances.

Best wishes

Valerie Elliott
