You may be able to get 15 or 30 hours of funded early education and childcare per week for up to 38 weeks a year. What you get depends on your child’s age and your family’s situation.

Early Learning for Two-year-olds
Early Learning for two-year-olds (formerly known as FEET) offers eligible families receiving additional forms of support, up to 15 hours of funded early education and childcare a week for 38 weeks a year. You can find out if your child can get FEET on the Funded Early Education for Two year olds webpage.You can apply for Early Learning for Two-year-olds the term your child turns two, but you will not receive the funded hours until the following term.

Universal Entitlement for three and four-year-olds (UE)
In England, all three and four-year-olds are entitled to up to 15 hours of funded early education and childcare a week for up to 38 weeks a year. This is to give children the opportunity to take part in planned learning activities and help prepare them for school through the early learning goals set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
This is a universal offer and is available to all children regardless of their family circumstances. It can be accessed through a childcare provider who is registered with Surrey to claim the funding on your behalf.

Working Parents' Entitlement (WPE)
If you're working, you may get 30 funded hours for up to 38 weeks a year.
2 years - 30 hours a week
3 and 4 year olds - 15 hours in addition to the 15 hours of Universal Entitlement for all three and four year olds. Parents can start using their Universal Entitlement starting at the beginning of term after their child's 3rd birthday.
