Dear Parents,
Many thanks to the parents who have given up their time, in so many ways recently, to improve our outdoor and growing area. It has really made a difference for the children. A special thank you to Tamzin Greggs for leading the development of our new wild hub (the old wildlife area) and Penguin dads Mark Parsons and Will Godwin who have begun to rebuild the willow hedging by the allotment. We are planning a working party morning early in the summer term to tackle some more of the outdoor area, so if you are interested in getting involved please email the office.
We are also looking for some enthusiastic gardeners who are willing to give up a couple of hours each month to tend to the tubs, pots and beds at the front of the school. We are very willing to provide a small budget for plants if someone is keen to plant them! If you know of anyone in the village who might be interested in helping, please ask them to contact the office as well.
I hope you all have a really enjoyable half-term holiday.
Best wishes,
Valerie Elliott
