Dear Parents,
As we end week three of lockdown, we know that some families are starting to find home learning a challenge, none of which is surprising as many of the children are missing seeing their friends and being in school. We are looking at ways of providing a range of activities, especially non-screen work, towards the end of the week to keep the children engaged.
Some teachers are also struggling with finding time to have breaks, as the children are naturally posting questions throughout the day. So, if you or your child contact the teacher, please be reassured that they will get back to you as soon as possible.
Once again, thank you for all your help and continued support at this difficult time. Next week school staff will begin self-administering a Covid test twice weekly to further reduce transmission of the virus, and we hope this is another step towards reopening schools as soon as possible.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns about your child or remote learning, please don't hesitate to contact the class teacher or me.
Best wishes,
Valerie Elliott
