Surgery

A new surgery needs to be held to glean opinions from everyone at school.

To be held on the playground or in the library on Tuesday 14th November by Rosie, Arran and Jake

The new code has been created for KS1 and an updated version for KS2

Year 2 have seen it in their class.

Pupil Voice - suggestion box for the School Council

Could we update the Express Yourself box to include suggestions for the Council?

The council know to tell a teacher or parents but most were unaware of the Express Yourself box in the library.

It was suggested that each classroom has their own ‘worry box’ and the School Council will ensure they are all collected every week and given to an adult.

Ratified - class box and library box and DB Primary emails if required.Mr Gardner make a poster saying how to vent worries.

Emilia suggested that the table by the wall in the library becomes a wellbeing area / station. We could have sticky notes with negative emotions and bin it. Worry bag to look at worries and a worry bin for negative thoughts we can’t change.

Pupil Voice - MySpace club

Do the Council think that a lunchtime quiet club could be beneficial? How would it run?

Could help lots of people. Would depend how it ran - outside area being built.

Hive is quite loud.

Action Forms

We need to review the applications.

St James Biking Club - no adult sponsor so they will regroup.

House Leaders suggested that the Houses have a motto change - this has been approved. 

The School Council would like to approve the suggestions before they are made official. House Captains to come along to next meeting. Motto suggestions accepted at the surgery.

Note on board to say the mottos might be changing. 

Poll online to vote for motto of there are many suggestions.

Nico - Pokemon Club

School playlist software to looked into. Ask William to look into. YouTube kids filters many songs.

He is going to find an adult to sponsor his idea.
