playground games led by the sports crew

The week before we broke up for the holidays, all the children from Year R to Year 6 took part in learning our new playground games. The sports crew introduced the games to the school during assembly and then Year 6 worked with their buddies in Year R, Year 1 worked with their buddies in Year 5, Year 2 and Year 4 worked together and Year 3 were led by the Year 6 sports crew.  A lot of fun was had playing the new games. After the holidays,  on a Tuesday and Thursday, the sports crew will be coning off part of the playground and playing the games with any children that would like to take part. This is a great way to encourage the  children to be more active.
