P&R Area

We all need a little P&R from time to time, and now St James Primary finally has a space dedicated to this. 

P&R is, of course, Prayer and Reflection. Thanks to money donated to us by the local Elstead Youth Panto Group - of which several of our children are members - we have been able to start creating a quiet space in the playground. 

You'll have to use your imagination, as the photo was taken on a glorious, grey November morning, but come spring, we hope to have seating and lots of planters with sensory flowers and shrubs. You will also see that our new Reading Shed has been put in position, ready to accept its books.

If you have anything you'd like to donate to enhance our Prayer and Reflection Area, please get in touch with Mr Gardner via the school office.

Massive thanks to the Farnham based group Men in Sheds who donated their time and expertise for free. Check them out online if you need any help with woodwork!
