Owls last forest school

The rain didn't stop us at Forest School for the last week!
Mrs Greggs was very impressed with our resilience, even when it rained quite hard, and in fact, it gave us lots of new exciting opportunities - catching rain drops in our mouths to use our sense of taste, jumping in puddles and even making waterfalls, dams and lakes in the digging pit!
We collected some beautiful leaves from a maple tree and were amazed by all the different colours within each leaf.  Some of us even made leaf posies!
We also talked about another British animal that hibernates and the special way it uses echolocation to 'see' and hunt in the dark - wonderful bats!
Thank you Mrs Greggs - We've loved every minute!
