Looking for Signs of Autumn at Forest School
We looked for signs of Autumn today; noticing leaves that were changing colours and falling to the ground, acorns and red berries on a holly tree.

We talked about how hedgehogs use Autumn to prepare for their Winter hibernation. Using clay and natural resources from the ground, we made our own little hedgehogs and some of us even created cosy nests for them to hibernate in.

Mr Gardner brought us a bee that a pupil in Year 2 had seen and rescued from the playground. We found a flower in our little wildflower patch, to place it on; it started drinking nectar straight away and then, revitalised, flew off!
