Kingfishers Are The Bees Knees!

Congratulations to Kingfishers who won the Y3 category of this year's Farnham Lions Art Competition.  They entered a collaborative piece, a beautiful abstract composition of a bee.  The squares were coloured and cut out and stuck together to form the image shown below.

We are told that the judges, chaired by local artist Susie Lidstone had the difficult task of choosing the winners from the seventeen schools that entered a total of seventy one pieces of work.

The class received a £50 WH Smith voucher to be used at the discretion of the school.
