a Church School
St James Primary is a church school within the Diocese of Guildford and we work closely with our local church, St James and its Rector, Rev Hannah Moore. The children visit the church regularly, for services and activities and we welcome families of all faiths and no faith. The children have assembly every day, in class and as a whole school.
Our Christian vision is Zephaniah 3:17, which says, 'The Lord your God is with you, a Mighty One, who will save. He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will renew you with His Love, He will rejoice over you with singing.'
Through our vision our aim is to develop children's spirituality, allowing them to flourish, using our Chrisitian values below.
