Photos and Flags

On the last day of half-term, we revealed the results of the inter-house photography competition.  We received around 50 entries and our judge, professional photographer Mr Taylor, thought the entries were of brilliant quality.

14 entries, two from each class progressed to the Elstead Village Gardening Club competition, whilst 2 entries were announced overall winners, claiming the victory for the prospective Houses.

Darcy in Owls and Dulcie in Kestrels were victorious with some fabulous shadow photos, meaning Ellis and Reffold are joint winners of the competition.

As winners, the Houses not only get their ribbons on the Pearse Cup but they also get their flag raised on the flag pole!  Yes, thanks to the PTA we have brand new House flags.  The flags will be used at House events and lunches and proudly shown off on the school flagpole when victory occurs.
