Penguins take Flight
This half-term Penguins are learning about 'Flying & Moving Things'. We have started this topic off with looking at flying things and reading our core text, 'Izzy Gizmo', who invents wings for a crow who can't fly. The children have really enjoyed putting on their creative hats and designing ways in which to help the crow fly. We have had flying machines, new wings, helmets and catapults to name but a few.
This week we used our designs to help build our inventions at our workshop.
We then tested our designs out. Well done to Oliver who flew his new wings the furthest.
