Penguin Movie Makers

Last week Penguins began to learn to retell a new traditional tale from memory. We use a story map and a script to retain the repeated language of a simple 'beat the baddie' story - this week it is The 3 Billy Goats Gruff.

Firstly, we acted out the story using our outside resources to make a sturdy bridge, with all the children taking it in turns to be the troll or the goat. 

Next, we recorded an oral retelling of our story over photographs taken of our role-playing.

Finally, we have created our own movie. (This can only be viewed on the website, not via the app.)
