New Life and Planting with Buddies

Last Friday Penguins and Eagles joined forces for a morning of outdoor learning. Splitting into two groups the children spent time looking for signs of 'new life' and planting.

The children recorded what they found with lovely drawings, helpfully labelled by Eagles. The wild area was full of new life where we found flowers blossoming, buds on trees and newts in the pond.

In the allotment the children worked together to plant potatoes in the tyres.

It was lovely to spend the morning in the sunshine and we look forward to coming back and seeing how our potatoes are getting on. We would like to make chips with them!
