Welcome back to a new term and I hope you all had a lovely break, managing to avoid the various bugs that seem to be circulating at the moment! 

A new year brings new changes...we've looked closely at your responses to the Governor survey last term and one thing that was a consistent comment was the way we communicate with you each week. As a result we've decided to launch the St James E-news; this is a page on the website that links everything together, my blog, the PTA news, governor news, weekly letters and the school diary. A link to the page will be sent out each week and we hope this will make keeping up with school news a bit easier, so do let us know what you think. 

The governors and I have also put together a parent code of conduct and revised complaints policy which you will receive this week. The ethos of St James is very special and is something we all value; that ethos definitely comes from the strong relationship between school and home and it is something we want to protect for the future.
