Easter Journey begins in Owls

We learnt about and celebrated Shrove Tuesday with a delicious pancake morning snack, first making them and then choosing toppings from a selection of fresh fruits, syrups and traditional lemon and sugar. 

Last week we journeyed to St James Church on Ash Wednesday and this week Owls were asked to help act out the Open The Book story - an experience we always enjoy.

We have also made a wonderful selection of bread rolls to accompany our Bible story of Jesus' miracle - feeding 5000 with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish.
