Dear Parents,
With Covid-19 cases steadily rising locally and nationally, we are constantly reviewing our procedures to ensure we are keeping everyone safe, and whilst I always say it, I really do appreciate your co-operation with all our measures. The children seem really happy to be back at school and are coping well with all the changes.
One area we intend to change and improve is our remote learning offer and we have taken onboard much of your feedback. We are planning to streamline the organisation of our remote learning and are using Microsoft Teams alongside DB Primary. The remote learning will be used if a child or a class need to self-isolate for a period of time or, as before, if we have sadly have to have a second national lockdown.
We want the children to be in school learning and enjoying time with their friends, so we hope that all our safety measures will keep the school open throughout the winter, even though there will be some huge challenges for us all.
With best wishes,
Valerie Elliott
