Dear Parents,
I am really pleased to be able to share with you our new finished mural, 'View of Elstead Common'. It is a beautiful, original, piece of work that has given, and will continue to give, the whole school community an enormous amount of pleasure.
A couple of quick reminders now that the children have settled back into school; in order to reduce the number of bulky items in school and help to keep spaces clear and easy to clean, please can the children not bring in rucksacks. Instead the children should be using plastic carrier bags to transport items to and from school. Plastic carrier bags can also be quickly disposed of should there be a positive case of Covid at home or at school.
The arrival arrangements for school appear to be going well, so thank you for your support. Now that we are heading into the colder months, please can we ask that when you drop off the children at the gate, they are ready to go in as quickly as possible, so that families waiting behind in the queue are not queuing for too long. Many thanks, in advance, for your help.
Best wishes,
Valerie Elliott

Collecting children - The side gate will open at 3.00pm from tomorrow for all parents. Please follow the path and keep to the right as your pass the Penguins class. Please spread your arrival time for collections, from 3.00pm to 3.15pm; the latter half of the collection time is very quiet.
Parking - we have received a further complaint this week regarding parking. If you are parking in West Hill particularly, or any areas around the school please do not obstruct the driveways of residents.
Cancelling school dinners - we are delighted that Tucasi, the company that manage our Scopay accounts, have now upgraded their system and, from today, parents will have the ability to cancel their children's school dinners up to midnight the day before they are due to have a meal.
