Christmas Penguins at the Common

Penguins took their first trip to the common this week. As it is close to Christmas we decided to make it Christmas-themed.

The children created wonderful Christmas trees using natural loose parts we found on the ground. We used pine-cones as baubles, moss as green for the trees and sticks and bark for branches. The children worked well in teams to create their beautiful trees. If you are out for a walk do look out for them. Once we were finished we toured around each others trees and ended our time with a Christmas story.
