Thank you and thank you

Firstly, thank you for the donations and support for our second-hand and craft sale. Over the three sessions we managed to raise £460.96 for Target Ovarian Cancer. We are blown away. 

This evening we delivered the leftover toys and books to a someone who is collecting items to ship to Africa. The Ratidzo Trust and Helping Hands help people living in poverty in Zimbabwe and Kenya respectively. The lady who received the items was delighted, explaining that even books are sought after by the Trust as the impoverished have to burn paper when their wood runs out. To think that we had eight crates rammed full of books to donate AFTER the sale really puts into perspective how lucky we are.

Secondly, thank you for your support (and gifts). Every year we are brought to tears by your generosity. This year has been like no other for all of us.
