A Special Visitor for Waste Week

We had a special visitor this week, Vanessa from For Earth's Sake in Cranleigh, who spoke to us about how to reduce our plastic waste in our packed lunches. She ran two assemblies showing us some alternatives to single-use plastics and individually wrapped foods.

Vanessa then spent some time with our amazing Eco Team coming up with some grand plans for how she can support the school on our journey to reduce single-use plastics. More news to come on some exciting new projects for St James Primary!
