Snail Trails and Tadpoles
It is another busy week in Penguins this week as we continue to explore different 'creepy crawlies'. This week we have been reading Snail Trail by Ruth Brown. It is a lovely story following the 'trail' of a snail as he goes up a hill, over a bridge and down a slope. The children listened to the story carefully and drew their own trail as the story was read to them. Below are some colourful trails.
We have also been lucky to have been given some frogspawn to watch grow and change. The children have been fascinated to see the tadpoles emerge and their gills grow. We are keeping a close eye on them, as well as learning how to look after them. We are all excited to see what happens next! Thank you to the Clipsham family for donating them.
