Sculpture by Kestrels

Kestrels class have been studying the work of Barbara Hepworth, whose work was inspired by the ocean.  First they explored Hepworth's collection of works, shared ideas and sketched their plans before making plaster sculptures.  

Finally, they painted using beach-inspired colours.  Their finished sculptures will be on display at the St James art exhibition in the hall, this week on Wednesday 16th after school.
