Let's Create's Bear Project
The Let's Create club have been busy working on a bear project over the last four weeks.
Week 1 saw the children making observational drawings of teddy bears, looking carefully to ensure we drew what was in front of us and not an imaginary bear.
In week 2 we used these drawings to help us construct a bear-like form using plastic bags and tape. This turned out to be very tricky but the artists showed lots of resilience.
Week 3 was the most fun (and messy!) as we used mod-roc to cover our plastic bags to create a more solid structure.
Finally, in week 4 we painted our bears an assortment of rainbow colours.
Well done Let's Create you've all made some wonderful sculptures.
Mrs B would also like to say a big thank you to Mrs Peach for helping with this hands-on project!
