Kingfishers at the Natural History Museum

What an amazing day! We had a whirlwind tour of the museum. The trip was full of awesome sights from seeing the spectacular 25m long blue whale skeleton suspended from the ceiling to experiencing the simulated ground tremors of an earthquake. We saw a real life (kind of) Tyrannosaurus Rex eating its prey (phew- it wasn't us!).  During the interactive Earthquake and Volcano show, we also learned many new facts for our current topic.  Our legs are now very tired from walking miles around the huge museum so we will enjoy a much needed rest!
