Kestrels Become Members of Parliament

It has been Parliament Week in Kestrels and they have been learning about how our country is run alongside learning to write persuasively. The classroom was transformed into the House of Commons for a very important debate on whether children should have more homework set for them each week.

The Opposition Parties listened intently while the Government outlined their proposal.

Parliament had been in session for quite some time with both sides putting forward strong arguments. But the Government began to feel the pressure from the Opposition Parties.
