This week at Forest School we took our classroom learning about the Three Little Pigs outside!

Using natural resources such as bark, bracken, sticks and grass, we worked in groups or on our own to design and construct woodland houses. 

We thought about factors for the build such as the best location, size, comfort, water proofing, camouflage and even defences and then chose our materials for the build process. It was fascinating to see how unique and creative each of the designs were.

There was also plenty of time to explore the site more and choose our own things to do; from bird watching in the hide, filling up the bird feeders, cooking mud brownies for all the workers to a very successful worm hunt, one of whom was given the name Bernard!
